In many educational settings we find the natural choice is a hard wearing carpet rather than hard flooring to soften the room’s appearance, and also to improve the acoustic. Hard flooring can of course be used alongside to break up the carpet cover and or for use in corridors and reception areas. The type and style of carpet will largely depend on the amount of foot traffic with carpet tiles being popular in some instances, being easy to install and then replace individual tiles if staining or wear occurs. Reception areas can be brought to life with the use of LVT (luxury vinyl tiles) with their design flexibility and visual effects. If special designs or the organisation’s branding are required then we can commission bespoke options within a flooring project.
